As per the title. Anyone got one taking up space in their loft and want to swap it for some cash?

I have a Mega Drive but unfortunately it's not for sale. I also have an Atari 2600 (with wooden front), a VideoMaster Colourscore, a ZX Spectrum 16k, a Commodore 64 and an Amiga 500, all safely locked away and most of which are in near-perfect condition. Some time in the distant future, I'll show them to my great-grandchildren so they can just laugh at me. They'd never appreciate waiting for a Spectrum or C64 cassette tape to load...only to hear the tape reaching the end before the game starts up and having to start the whole process over again...before eventually experiencing the excitement of moving a coloured blob from one side of the screen to the other.

Oh man, those were the days!

The worst thing was multi-load games. I remember getting to the last level of a few blob moving games on the Speccy only for the last level to refuse to load. Argh! Good times indeed.

Thanks Flighty. It's Mrs Sramton who's after the machine and it was her who responded to your last PM.

Cheers, didn't want to disturb your MW2 sesh. Per above, it's Mrs Sram who wants it. Really she's wanting to play Road Rash/Road Rash 2 so if you've got one of those that would be ideal.

Currently pondering whether to softmod an old Xbox to play Megadrive etc or just to buy the Megadrive itself.

I've already got a SNES btw. It's matured into a nice shade of yellowey/brown.

Muz, probably be looking for around 30 bucks mate. Got the main games folk look for in Mario, Mario Kart and SFII along with a few others I can't mind. Also got two joypads, leads etc. Bought it from Salty on here a few years ago to play Mario Kart but since I moved out of my dads I have no wee brothers on hand to play against now. sad.gif

I'm at my dads on Saturday so I can check the rest of the games then and I'll either post them up on here or drop ye a text.

Not quite. My old dear once walked in on me playing Daley Thomsons Decathlon and thought I was wanking frantically. I was about 8. blush.gif

How much would you want for it? is it just the one controller or two?

I dunno? Whatever you think is fair.

I should have 2 controllers, 1 may even be wireless if my memory serves (but i'll go up the loft tomorrow and confirm)

Thanks for all your replies guys. Sorry to disappoint, but my wife picked one up for £12 from a car-boot sale earlier this afternoon. She's not tried it yet though, so I might be back on if it doesn't work.

Edit to add: tried it out last night and it's working fine.

Didn't see this thread first time round... long shot, but anyone got any spare original Xbox controllers they'd be willing to sell on? The console and games work fine but the triggers on all my controllers are humped.
RossDeMon
I meant to reply to this and it wouldn't let me in work.

There is 2 controllers and a few games, some of which I can't remember for the life of me, what they're about.

Street Fighter 2 - Champion Edition.
Mortal Kombat.
Streets of Rage.
Kid Chameleon.
Fantastic Dizzy.
