Right folks, I'm selling my beloved XBox 360 but it has to go by Friday morning otherwise it's going to Game (boo, hiss etc) as a trade in.

XBox 360 Premium 60GB
One wireless controller
Component (HD) cable

Forza 3
Star Wars: Force Unleashed
Assassins Creed
Mirrors Edge
Lost Planet
FIFA 09
NBA 2K6
Smackdown vs Raw 2008

Got a few more games that I can't remember right now but I'll update later.

Looking for £100 ono but mind it needs to be bought and paid for by Friday or it's offski.

Cheers!

PS Any of the 360 lads reading this, don't worry, I'm not chucking it and will still be available to dish out gaming masterclasses. wink.gif

Since you gave me more than that more my SNES, I'll give you £50 for the Xbox and the games plus you can keep the controller and I'll give you my spare Arcade.

Sound fair?

If not I'll give you £100 for the whole lot and the other games. wink.gif

Sure am, although that's not the reason I had to shift mine by Friday.

Anyway, sold to Salty who's picking it up next week - two weeks without an XBox for me. ohmy.gif

I was thinking of doing the same, but maybe thinking of waiting a while to make sure all the problems have been solved in the new machine. unsure.gif

Hmmmm .. what to do :/

Fairly certain MS will have sorted any issues - the RROD fiasco cost them a fortune and I can't see them making the same mistake twice. Plus they now have the same feature as PC's where the console will tell you it's overheating due to inadequate ventilation (so don't play it under your quilt) and shut itself down.

I want one because I use mine as a media extender so the 250GB HDD is handy and the noise of the fan when watching a movie is very annoying..... that and it looks sheckshi.

Why not just buy a decent sized hard drive? 250Gb won't cost you that much...

My one, however large it is has over 300 films on it and is only about 75% full, why you need so much space?

Just do what I do (when I can be bothered) and connect your laptop to the telly and watch films that way rather than doing things through an Xbox!

I'm a sucker for shiny gadgets mate, which (along with my beer habit) explains why my pockets are always empty!

I liked it but as ye know most of my gaming is online and it's completely ruined by dobbers who just spend the entire race ramming folk, driving backwards etc.

I m8, if you drop it off at any time you're free. No hurry for it, far too busy to play it for long anyway.

Any time I have to play it I play Lego Harry Potter which is unbelievably long!!!

How you liking the new SexBox, Boozie?

I love that I can play a game or watch a film and not hear the xbox itself over the top of it biggrin.gif

Picking mine up today, how easy (if at all) is it to transfer all your saves/live games etc from the old elite to the new one?????

I only had about 4Gb worth of stuff that I actually needed to keep (and I don't mind just downloading all the arcade games and stuff again - for which you need to go on Xbox.com and transfer licenses to new console) so I stuck it on a USB stick and transferred it over, but you can buy a transfer kit if you're wanting to transfer everything from one HDD to the other. I think it's relatively easy.

A mate had to buy one yesterday and as it's only gonna be used the once just purchased it pre owned and ended up getting a faulty wire. £15 for a new one (tenner preowned in GS), and I'm sure you'll get a few quid for it back on eBay or something.

It's a lovely little bit of kit. Looks the business and is completely silent - love it.
