Vote for your player of the year. You can say who you voted for or not, it's up to you. I have listed ALL players who have played this season to make it a fair poll.

As crass as it sounds I can't think of anyone who has been consistently good this year. I will wait for a few more votes in case it manages to sway my opinion..

I voted for Peter, but David McGregor comes a close second. Both have been extremely consistent, but Peter's goals edge it for me.
Temps might have been in with a shout, but he didn't play enough at the start of the season and I feel player of the year is someone who has played all season and consistently well.

I'm afraid I don't think David McGregor has been very consistent at all. In the last five or six games he's been OK, and excellent in a couple, but he's not played a whole season, and is far too slow against a fast winger.
I, like you, chose Weatherson.

Voted Weatherson, with McGowan a close second.

I chose Templeman - for the way he has turned things around this year - he scored 3 goals last year and is now fitter, stronger and an allround better player - which is why he has scored about 15 this year.
Peter is our best player by far but he continually plays well, but for me templeman was 4th choice last year and is now 1st choice striker and therefor deserves credit for that - plus he scored a peach against Killie!!!

Based on the games I've seen, and the amount of goals he's scored, Weatherson.

I'd have to go for Chris Templeman.
He's impressed me a hell of a lot. I can only recall one game where I thought he wasn't all that great, and the rest of the time, he's impressed me a great deal with his touches, control and passing. Weatherson was a close second, but I'm still not a fan of the way he left the defense exposed on so many occaisions, so decided to pick Chris ahead of him.

i went for peter due to the fact he has led by example all season.i would have gone for temps,as he has worked miracles for us this season, although his first touch is still not there,i think he would be a deserved runner up.imho.of course.

as with a lot of people, Weatherson got my vote but Templeman was a close second! I chose Peter due to what he brings to the team, regardless of position, his leadership qualities and general all-round attitude! Sanny was close due to how well he has turned things around for himself! Last summer, i would not have been bothered in the slightest if he never played for us again, but i can't actually think of the team without him now! That tells you all you need to know!

Went for Weatherson, think this has been his best season for Morton. Special mention to Templeman though, definitely most improved player.

i voted for templeman but with weatherson 2nd and mcgregor 3rd like most people.
but does anyone else find it strange that we are top of the league and mcgregor is one of our players of the year? i mean he's been consistent n stuff but he hasnt been excellent.
also funny that the first half of the season everyone was moaning that the 2 main positions we needed were two fullbacks and now both of them are in our top 3 players of the year.

Why do we have this poll when we have the man of the match every week.
2 votes for Ryan Russell shows how irrelevant it is. The guy's only played about ten minutes all season and 2 people want to give him player of the year.

I have 4 players in mind but, with 6 games still remaining, I too will wait to see how it spans out. Way too early to call this!

maybe the 2 people did that to prove what a pointless poll it is.

MacGregor missed much of the early season through injury, and when he came back it took him a while to come onto his game. From August until probably around December, a left-back seemed crucial.
Fair play to Jim for having faith in Davie, who's been excellent since the new year. I never saw in him what Jim did, but I think I'm starting to now.
