you should have checked this out first

Thistle have lost five of their last six games away from home and have taken only 12 from a possible 39 points all season on the road

I also saw somewhere that getting on 50% of thislte points are from wins over Raith and us. So unless Thistle away to Morton or Raith - an away win is a risky bet.

A dreadful week of results, but we only have ourselves (Grady, Rae) to blame for this mess. In six months all we have done is get past a pitiful Airdrie side.

Maybe this will act as a wake-up call to the players. We need to start winning, and we need to start now. Well, after Saturday probably...

Never mind a win, getting a battling draw or two from our difficult games would do the world of good.

Oh shoite !! Good luck to Ayr for throwing down the gauntlet . Their form over the last 5 games has been what you want from a team struggling at the bottom.

The signings they've made have worked out well for them.

It just remains to be seen whether they can maintain their momentum before our form changes ... if it changes.

just battling would be a start!

biased match summary of 11yr old was Ayr in first half did well, in 2nd half were poor but on the rack and fought to defend their lead. He thought Thistle looked better than Morton - but maybe he was just winding me up! (or maybe not sad.gif )

cant believe we are now in this position, transfer window saw us do nothing yet let players go only to bring in Simmonds who by all accounts is woeful, letting wake go could be our undoing as he always got important goals.

We have gone through how many managers in the last few years? That suggests that the current less than mediocrity of our team is maybe not down to the managers entirely. I had high hopes for Grady but results don't lie. We have wasted yet another transfer window and signed nobody inspiring. We're not even as good a team as the sum of the parts at the moment.

What does it take to get Morton back to the way we were in 77-82?
