Hopefully another win this weekend, but I think they may need to put the covers down on Wednesday as significant snow forecast:

I normally hate when games are off but in this case if it gives us just a wee bit of breathing space in terms of injuries and replacements it might be no bad thing!

Not really. It'll likely be moved to the Tuesday night which just makes things worse.

I don't think postponed games have to be played asap during January and February.  Certainly didn't used to be the case, and postponed games were usually played in March and April.

No it wouldn't.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Fair enough. For some reason had it in my head the SPFL looked to play it as close as possible.

The game will only be off if the police deem it unsafe in and around the surrounding areas. We've got the best groundsman in Scotland who's probably well aware of what's forecast

I'm up in Aviemore Wednesday to Saturday so quite happy if it's off, especially if we've no striker in yet.

Aviemore, been there, seen it, done it, got the T-shirt. Not as lively as Grimsby though.

Last time I was in Aviemore was to do a delivery at the MacDonald hotel. Spoke to the receptionist, two porters, the checkout woman in Tesco, the girl in the coffee shop and the guy in the petrol station. Not one of them was Scottish.

We go to the Hilton Colyumbridge every January and the entire staff are European now.  Which is nice as I'd rather have a leggy Lithuanian checking me in than wee Susie fae Inverness.

I doubt you've been anywhere, done anything or ever will.  Except Grimsby of course, that's a feather in your cap.  Red Dot, Dickhead.

Met Office have issued a weather warning of snow for all day Friday now, that's on top of the snow and wind forecast tomorrow and Thursday. I don't doubt the pitch will be fine but the roads around Cappielow are probably going to be unusable for a time.

Main snow looks like early Thursday with Friday looking OK and Saturday sunny according to this:

http://www.metoffice...Time=1484179200

Update: could be snow to low levels later on Wednesday afternoon and also snow most of Thurs (but looking like no snow Fri / Sat)

Would like to see Shankland getting off the mark in his first game but he may not even start - depends how sharp he is.

What is the injury status of Kudus?

At the age of 32, Alexander of Macedonia wept salt tears, for there were no more worlds to conquer.

Gavin Gunning is only 25.
