It should of showed if he had an MRI of his knee, which I’m pretty sure he would of when trying to problem solve the knee especially after his breakdowns. So it’s a strange one but these tears can be very fine.
I don’t know of any places up here that does this surgery as it’s pretty specialised, rare and only really used for recurrent dislocations. I work with a lot of knee rehab patients and it’s generally a gruelling process mentally and physically for them. Conor’s done a phenomenal job getting back in, would be brilliant to see him back getting a game as he’s a player I’ve always really liked. Back at right back for the playoffs?
Appreciate the informed response, thanks. Couldn't agree more that Conor has shown remarkable mental strength - even seeking out a second opinion when he'd been told so many times he was for the chopping block can't have been easy. And then to want to be back on the pitch after breaking down so many times is even more impressive.
Whether or not he can make it back into a Championship team remains to be seen but if he can't it's not for a lack of effort or character. I really hope it's with us.
