This is Scottish football not masterchef, there's nothing wrong with a bag of Chipmunk's salt and vinegar washed down with an orange Qwenchy Cup.

I was just a kid still living with my parents etc and knew nothing of the world or the cruelty in it.

It's got to be VT, we could chip in and pay him a wage.

I think he'll be determined to do well to justify the faith Duffy has in his abilties. His confidence will get a boost from knowing Duffy seen him in an appalling Murn team but still thought he could do a job at the oppsite end of the table with us.

He'll be coming into a tight knit squad who'd all bust a lung for each other and joining a team enjoying some success. They'll no doubt welcome him in and encourage and support him from the off.

That's going to be a dream set up compared to what he's just left.

tl;dr I hope he's not s***e.

If i went back quite a bit to early 80s i'd say Bobby Houston was the last best right back Morton have had from then to now.

Bobby Houston i think we got from Killie.  Was supposed to be a striker i think.  Cant remember the reason he started as playing as right back.  He went down that right wing like a rocket.  Was a great attacking right back.  Not a dirty animal either especially back then.

Houston was a fabulous right back and a complete gentleman.

I think he left us (and the game) to devote more time to his church, he was a Mormon or Jehovah. That might be nonsense but it was what I was told at the time by a club shareholder.
