Welcome back. What better way to reacquaint ourselves to the forum than to discuss our historic semi final, with the opponent due to be chosen tonight?

Split opinions on P&B about opponent and venue but I'd love to avoid Celtic and Sevco so would ideally like St Johnstone at one of the Edinburgh grounds. Hampden doesn't appeal to me at all unless it's the final.

I'd be fine with St Johnstone in Edinburgh. Cannot be arsed with the OF.

Perfect scenario is the 2 bigots getting each other whilst we get Aberdeen/St Johnstone at Tynecastle. Since we're getting 25% of the overall gate money for both semi's we'll be getting a decent amount of cash.
Just hope that if we do end up with a game at Tynecastle that Morton fans aren't shafted like the St Johnstone fans were last year at the same stage.

Ideal scenario would be for both Old Firm clubs getting aids and we just skip straight to the final.

Aberdeen or St Johnstone and strangely I think I want Aberdeen through. Would love one o the 6,000 odd stands at Easter Road and see Aberdeen fill the other 3. What a spectacle.

How many people do we realistically think we could take to a semi game? 6000 turned up for the Peterhead game 2 years ago.

I'm sure there was an issue where they got hee haw in comparison to Hibs. Obviously Hibs have a bigger support but they still got less than they were entitled to.

I used to think no less than 10k for a major semi but think 6k is probably about right.

There was only 13000 at our last hampden semi. Aberdeen had a large chunk of that figure. We were in the north terracing whilst the sheep took the Rangers end.
eat drink and be merry for tommorrow you may be radioiactive

Well judging by the number that were clamouring for a boycott and Duffy to be sacked it will be a lot less, in fact it should only be the happy clappers that turn up.

We'll never get a better chance of reaching a national final.

A wee bit of lady luck and you just never know.

Pretty poor game overall so I'd say we could go to the semi and give as good as we get and hopefully come out on top

Morton v Aberdeen is once again a box office fixture.

Also they celebrated this draw. Time to smash them back to teuchterland where they belong.
