No seats at front of North Stand sold as yet as understand have been selling from back which makes sense to ensure stay dry if raining. I think we are about 3,500 at moment which is pretty disappointing- only a guess plus some people will have taken different sections.

Don't believe that as I was told the north stand D1 was sold out and when given the choice for D2 most seats available were up the back.

I defer to your superior knowledge- was not really looking for a debate, just trying to add what I had heard.

Hopefully then it does not rain or D1 front will be wet from my experience of being front at Hampden.

Looking forward to the game and hopefully this does not take up any more time

To "wet the baby's head" is an anachronistic term for going out to get drunk with friends to celebrate the birth of a newborn. I hadn't heard that expression in years.

At the age of 32, Alexander of Macedonia wept salt tears, for there were no more worlds to conquer.

Gavin Gunning is only 25.

Think I'm row E or something, so if they're leaving the front then it's 4 rows at most.

Who knows. Just what I was told when I got my tickets. Hearing different things every day though about allocation etc so I doubt anyone really knows how many will be there apart from the club but for some reason they're not keen on disclosing that information

I sent a message on twitter to see if they would say anything, i think one of the supporter twitters also asked them becasue aberdeen has tweeted that they had sold over 10k.

i didnt get any reply.

Maybe I'm too cynical but I get the feeling that if we'd sold a good amount, we'd know about it.

Still, there's still time.

Aye, I suspect we'd know if we'd hit a milestone like 5k (as piss-poor as that is)

At this point I couldn't care how many are there. The people we are going to share this day and memories with are the people who want to be there. **** the rest.

Is it just me or has there been a scaling back of the media output already? Or is Jackie on holiday?

Good interview with Ross Forbes up on the site today so I'd say not.

Maybe we're trying to lull Aberdeen into a false sense of security, thinking there's hardly any support travelling. They get there and it's like one of the old movies with the horizon covered by Ton supporters.

Kilday, Lamie and McAleer starting for the reserves tonight. No sign of Gunning - must just be trying to not cause further damage ahead of Saturday.

Someone at the club told my mate last night that the North Stand was almost sold out and if people leave it much later they'll only be able to get the more expensive tickets.

You dont have a mate, only a groomer.

Saturday's match programme cover in the link below, for anyone who's interested. You can buy a copy here too if you don't want it covered in beer from your day out. Or if you're LinwoodTon and won't be anywhere near Hampden.

Any mention of delivery costs? I'll probably get it online as I can't be arsed carrying one about with me on the day. Never usually get one but might as well this week.

I ordered it and paid another £2 for postage so you're probably as well to if you keep things like that and plan forgetting everything after about 4pm on Saturday.
