I don't think anyone's terribly excited by the potential signing of Harkins- I just don't like the guy, and he probably is past it if we've got ambitions for promotion.

It's the dismissive attention seeking that gets on my tits though. Harkins probably isn't what we as fans are looking for, but to label him the way vT-Lite has is clearly designed to attract attention to himself. He's done that and it hasn't worked out for him. Time for him to lick his wounds and move on.

If he hadn't so blatant in his criticisms of Harkins he wouldn't have got such a negative reaction, but then again, he did it to be noticed and he has been. Just not in the way he wanted.

I'm not looking for a reaction. I'm giving my thoughts on Harkins as a player. It's not plsying games here and I don't see why it's being interpreted as such. If you think I'm a dick, that's fine, but I wasn't deliberatly being an arsehole there.

 I'm expecting all sunshine and rainbows on here when Gaz is revealed as our star signing, holding a top he can't actually fit.

Ah, the pitfalls of exaggerating something in order to appear controversial and attract attention.

VT-Lite's doing quite a bit of scrambling for relevance, here :).

Stating Gary Harkins is guff isn't controversial. Going against an entire support that have watched him all season and have said so is.

Well for me, he is better than league 1 and i don't get how you come to your conclusion that he is league 1 standard now. Based on what? Yes he played for a relegated Ayr team but that doesn't mean every one of their players couldn't play in the Championship.

12 months ago he was still playing in the Premiership with Dundee so I don't think he suddenly becomes league 1 level within 12 months.

I've only seen him a couple of times this season but he always stood out for Ayr and i think he will do a job for us in the Championship if we have indeed signed him up.

Well, you've answered your own question. He was playing for Ayr, and was dung. He didn't cut it at Championship level, and didn't even do enough to comvince anyone he'd be better in another team.
